Simply Better Schools

One of the items that we will be voting on in November is EHJR 4204, which is a Constitutional Amendment saying that a simple majority of voters is required to pass a school levy.

Suzie Sheary has provided us with an electronic copy of the endorsement form that people can use to express their support and spread the word. If your county or district has endorsed this measure, feel free to use it and pass it out to your membership.

I would also like to invite comment on the measure. What do you think about the issue? How does your district feel about this amendment?

The form was done by the Simply Better Schools committee and they were passing out forms at Tukwila Days. The form was copied on golden rod-colored paper and I could not get a good scan and copy of it. So, I retyped the form to copy for our meeting last Sunday night. It is the committee form, simply retyped.
